McKinsey Diverse Young Leaders Scholarship Funded by McKinsey’s West Coast Office.

The McKinsey Diverse Young Leaders Scholarship offers financial assistance and mentorship to students at local Public Schools of Black, African American, Hispanic, Latino race or ethnicity, and/or part of Indigenous groups in North America. Recipients receive financial assistance for college tuition or other educational opportunities (for example, a study abroad program). In addition, recipients are matched with a mentor from a McKinsey office and guaranteed an interview with a McKinsey West Coast Office (San Francisco, Seattle, Silicon Valley, or Southern California) for internships after their sophomore or junior years of college or an interview for full-time employment after graduation. Application Requirements: Please fill out all parts of the application and submit all required documentation in order to be considered.

    The final application should include:

  • - Completed online student application form and personal statement
  • - Unofficial transcript Letter of recommendations (school counselor or teacher)
  • - Resume (containing work experience, leadership experience, academic awards, activities, and volunteering experience)

The deadline for submission is April 19, 2020.All applications will be assessed by a committee of McKinsey consultants and recruiters and a group of semifinalists will be selected. If you are selected as a semifinalist, you will be invited for an interview. McKinsey Diverse Young Leaders scholarship recipients will be announced by May 2020.
